[Teachers] should recognize that the linguistic form a student brings to school is intimately connected with loved one’s community, and personal identity. To suggest that this form is “wrong” or, even worse, ignorance, is to suggest that something is wrong with the student and his or her family. (p.33). Teachers need to understand that they are going to work with different group of people and some of them English is not their first language some of them might have an accent and teachers need where were their students coming from. As we talked in the class some of the students do not speak English outside the school and the way they think might be different because they are coming from different culture. The teachers should teach their students to see things from different people's perspectives because people are not the same. As I said before, there is no such a right or wrong people but it is just different beliefs and we need to respect other people's beliefs and cultures because in my opinion respect is the most important element in the classroom.
