BlogPostWeek3

The quote by Lisa Delpit, “We do not really see with our eyes or hear through our ears, but through our beliefs,” has a really deep meaning. Our beliefs do have an impact on the way how we see other people. We do need to put our beliefs away when we are in the classrooms and try to see other people as individuals and do not judge people based on how they look like or based what the media say. We need to understand that people do not choose their color skin or their race and it is really important to be nice with everyone and we need to treat people how we want to be treated. People have different beliefs and we need to see things from other people's perspective there is no wrong beliefs but people are just different and each group see themselves as the right one. So we need to stop stereotyping and see other people and listen to them and put our beliefs away and try to understand other people's beliefs we do not really need to agree with them but we need to respect them. Especially if you want to be a teacher you are going work with different people from different groups and you need to understand where are they coming from and should teach your students to respect other people and see people as individuals and do not judge them based what other people say because no one has the right to judge other people.
